We all know the value of Web 2.0. If you don’t, check out www.go2web20.net…
Anyway… I just came across what seems to be a great tool for Web 2.0. It’s called Add This! and is found at www.AddThis.com.
You know how you’ve got the bookmark buttons on the bottom of most (properly done) blogs? This widget puts all those bookmarking buttons into one button. The reader clicks the button and can select which social bookmarking sites they will bookmark your site on. It saves on clutter and just makes everything so much easier. It’s free, and they say it will remain so. I’m going to implement it on this site when I have worked out how to use it. Check it out.
What do you think? Any ideas for its use beyond the obvious? Would it help you?
Update September 2016: Wow I was talking about web 2.0 almost 10 years ago lol. This was originally published on 3 April 2007. To think it still forms such an important part of my current SEO strategy through Domain Authority Stacking:

I don’t use AddThis any more. I’m still playing with different things to increase social sharing. Widgets can be tricky and bloated. I may end up just coding one myself.
