Understanding Taguchi Testing for Internet Marketing

I am currently trying to get my head around Taguchi multivariate testing. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a mathematical way of testing many different elements of (in this instance) a web page or an adwords ad.

I’m sick of there not being any free information on how this all works, so once I understand it, I’ll post either a link to a free report or a blog post (depending how long the explanation is) with that information. I might even put up a rudimentary excel spreadsheet with the calculations in it.
